March 1999:
SPECIAL
12 DAY SPECTATOR/PLAYER PACKAGE
There is a great deal of interest in the upcoming
Orbis World Bridge Championships being held in Bermuda in January
2000. Since the championships will be followed immediately by the
Bermuda Regional Tournament (January 22 to 29) many players have
expressed interest in arriving a few days before the start of the
Regional. This would allow them to share in the excitement of the
semi-finals and finals of these world championships then stay to
play in the Regional event.
Because space in the Southampton Princess will be
in great demand, we have booked a block of 100 rooms for this specific
purpose. A special 13-day/12-night package has been arranged at
a rate of US$1,982 per person, double occupancy, or US$2,852 single.
The arrival date would be Tuesday, 18 January 2000, with departure
on Sunday, 30 January. The rate includes breakfast, dinner, afternoon
tea, all taxes and gratuities, use of the golf course, tennis courts
and spa as well as guaranteed seating in the Vu-graph Room. A deposit
of US$450 per room is required.
