The Organisers
The World Bridge Federation, based in France, is the organising and sanctioning body for all official world bridge championships. Founded in 1958, its Board has representatives from affiliated bridge organisations around the world.
The Bermuda Bridge Federation is the local organising body for the events. The BBF is highly experienced in tournament organisation, having annually staged a week-long Tournament for an average of 700 players for almost 40 years.
Orbis Investment Management Limited, the investment manager of the award-winning Orbis Mutual Funds, is the exclusive corporate sponsor of the event.
The Bermuda Department of Tourism has provided financial and other support to facilitate the event. |
