All teams must be national teams (i.e. comprise players from the same NBO), but teams marked with (*) in the above table may be zonal (i.e. comprise players from different NBOs of the Zone). If there vacancies due to any Zone not filling their quota, the first berth will be offered to Zone 1 (Europe) and the second to Zone 6 (Pacific Asia).
Each participating team must play against all other participating teams. Entry and subsequent refusal to play any assigned match will result in the team's immediate disqualification.
Players in the Junior and Girls series must have been born in 1987 or later, while participation in the Youngsters series is open to players born in 1992 or later.
