The Congress comprises the following competitions:
All competitions are transnational. However, national anthems will be played and national flags will be hoisted for medal-winning teams or pairs consisting solely of players of the same nationality.
• Right of Entry The Championships are open to all bridge players (registered members of a WBF-member NBO), in good standing with their Federation and born on or after 1 January 1986. All entries are subject to the approval of the NBOs of the players and the WBF Credentials Committee. There is no restriction on the number of players who may enter from each NBO. Transnational combinations are allowed in all competitions. • Entry Fees
• Conditions of Contest The 2nd World Youth Congress will be played in accordance with the WBF General Conditions of Contest (revised in May 2010), as well as the Supplemental Conditions of Contest pertaining specifically to this event which will be posted here when they become available. • Dress Code Everyone entering the playing rooms must wear the official identification badge which will be provided by the organization upon arrival. If lost, a substitute badge will be provided at a cost of €5. All players, captains and coaches are required to wear T-shirts, polo shirts, shirts or blouses carrying their Federation’s logo. If sweaters, cardigans and sweatshirts are used they too must carry the Federation’s logo. Players are expected to be dressed respectably and are required to follow the instructions of the TDs. Any person not observing the dress code in the playing area will receive a warning on the first occasion; a subsequent breach will result in that person being prohibited from entering the playing area.
