Bridge must be played in accordance with a set of Laws established by the World Bridge Federation. The following Laws are currently available:

• International Code Laws of Duplicate Bridge - 2007 edition  (.pdf file)
  This is the latest edition, which came into effect as of January 2008.
• Code of Laws for Electronic (Online) Duplicate Bridge - 2001 .pdf file)
  This is the first edition of a special Code of Laws for bridge played over Internet. Effective October 2001.
• The WBF Laws Committee, comprising the world's experts on the field, works on a continuous basis, providing a new edition of the Laws every 10 years and interpreting the Laws as required.
• The WBF Laws Committee chair, Ton Kooijman, has issued his Commentary (.pdf file) to the 2007 edition of the Laws.
• The WBF Laws Committee, to further clarify the Laws, publishes the Committee Minutes of its regularly scheduled meetings.
