• Venue

The Venue of the Camp is the wonderful Várgesztes Villapark, a new development situated on the slopes of Vértes mountain, 20 km south of Tata (site of the 2003 World Junior Pairs Championship), some 75 km north-west of Budapest and 200 km south-east of Vienna. The nearest major town is Tatabánya.

The Hungarian Bridge Federation will provide return transportation to the venue from Budapest airport (at SF 20 per person), Tatabánya railway station (free), and Tata Sports Center (free), provided advance notice has been given.

ALL participants will be lodged at the Venue (entry carries an automatic accommodation booking). Accommodation is available in individual villas. Each villa has four double rooms and two bathrooms, in addition to a lounge and a kitchen.

Three meals a day will be served at the Venue’s restaurant, while a snack will be offered every night after the last bridge session.

A spacious hall will be available 24 hours for bridge and other indoor activities throughout the Camp. There is a large swimming pool with slide, and various physical sports facilities to be used by the participants.
