 • Systems Regulations

The Systems Regulations are contained in the Supplemental Conditions of Contest.

It is very important that all players note that no HUM Systems are permitted at any time or for any event during the Championships, and that Brown Sticker Conventions are only permitted during the knockout stages of the Rosenblum (Open) Teams and the McConnell (Women's) Teams and then only if they are submitted by email in advance to Anna Gudge, no later than 1 August 2002 on the special forms provided below.

Players need to note that the WBF is not providing photocopying facilities on site. There is a photocopy bureau in the Hotel Queen Elizabeth which is open from Monday to Friday during normal office hours. There is a charge of 40c per double sided copy and the WBF may be able to arrange for it to be open on Saturdays as well if there is sufficient demand. It is very important, therefore, that players bring sufficient copies of their own convention cards to the Championships, to ensure that each one has a copy to hand to his opponent at the start of every round of every event.

 • Registration & Contact

Entries to any of the events in the main Championships (not the Can-Am Regional) will be made exclusively through the National Bridge Organization (NBO) of the players. The NBOs will then make the official nomination to the World Bridge Federation.

There is no quota on the number of pairs and teams each NBO may nominate to play in the Championships.

Registration for all Teams and Pairs events other than the Can-Am Regional, must be submitted for the approval of the Credentials Committee, before 15th June 2002, in writing to:
