The 4th World Transnational Open Teams Championship is open to teams nominated by the National Bridge Organisations (NBOs) and approved by the WBF Credentials Committee. Players wishing to compete in this Championship are urged to contact their NBO and request nomination. There is no quota, and NBOs may nominate as many teams as they wish to compete in this great tournament.   Systems

  36th Bermuda Bowl & 14th Venice Cup

The Conditions of Contest will give full details about systems regulations and registration, but players should note that it will be a requirement that all systems are registered in advance via email to the WBF Systems Administrator at <anna@ecats.co.uk>

  4th World Transnational Open Teams

This is a Category 3 tournament. Therefore only systems permitted for this category (no brown sticker, no HUM) are authorized.

Senior and Transnational Systems Reminder

A reminder to all Senior and Transnational Teams - please be sure to bring plenty of copies of your Convention Cards with you to Monaco. Photocopying facilities will be very limited, so we suggest you bring at least 20 copies of your system - you will need one for each of your opponents at the table, and we all know how quickly they get lost! Senior systems that have been registered are on the website - go to http://www.ecatsbridge.com/BiB/b7/docdefault.asp  and click on the directory for the Championships, where you will see the directory that contains them. Please also remember that no Brown Sticker or HUM systems are permitted in either event.

 Shuttles

Shuttles from the airport to Monaco will not be provided on this occasion as there is an excellent bus service (buses leave hourly from the airport to Monaco at a cost of 14.1 Euro single or 22 Euro return) or, alternatively, you can get a taxi which according to the website will cost approximately 65-75 Euro. Please note that the taxis will only accept cash, not cheques or credit cards. Helicopter is only 69 Euro, but it doesn't take much luggage unfortunately!

Bus tickets can be purchased on line from the Nice Airport website, or tickets are also sold at the car park/bus office on the airport.

Please have a look at the Airport Website at http://www.nice.aeroport.fr where you can find information about the transport (look under Access and Parking on the menu at the side), as well as purchase your bus ticket if you wish to do so in advance.

 Hospitality

The Hospitality Desk will be at the Sporting d'Hiver and will be open on Sunday 02 November. You are asked to go to register and collect your badges, complimentary bags and invitations for the Opening ceremony which will be held at 18h30 at the hotel de Paris. Please note, you will be required to fill in a registration form - so to make things easy. Please try and ensure that every member of your team completes one of these in advance. There will be blanks there, of course, but it will speed up the registration process enormously if you can bring a completed one with you!
