Brazil demonstrated in no uncertain fashion that they will not give up easily the title that they shared with China in last year's IOC Grand Prix when they continued to demolish the opposition on the second day of the Round Robin.

A crushing 25-5 VP victory over the USA was followed by a 23-7 defeat of The Netherlands, leaving the South Americans way out in front of the field.

Italy, by piling on the points right at the end of their match with the USA, have moved into second place. They are just ahead of China who have recovered from their dreadful start, and may yet feature in the semi-finals.
